OLYMPIC champions Alex Gregory and Crista Cullen will be among the guests at a fund-raising sports dinner at Shiplake College.
The event will take place in the school sports hall on March 4 from 7pm and will include a three-course meal, a performance by Henley singer Jamie Bruce and an auction led by TV antiques expert Jonty Hearnden. Both men are former pupils of the independent school.
BBC Look East sports presenter James Burridge, who also studied at Shiplake, will conduct an informal interview with Gregory, a rower who has won two Olympic golds and Cullen, who won gold with the women’s hockey team at Rio 2016.
Former England fly-half and rugby pundit Andy Goode will also be present.
Proceeds from the night will go towards the college’s sports tour fund, which pays for its most promising young athletes to take part in activities overseas. Anyone who can donate auction prizes is asked to get in touch.
Tickets cost £75 and are available from www.shiplake.
