ENTRIES have opened for this year’s Wargrave and Shiplake Regatta.
The annual event, which attracts thousands of entrants each year, will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 8 and 9.
The regatta course is about three miles upstream from Henley and is accessible from Wargrave Road or Mill Lane, Shiplake.
A total of 400 races will be held on the 400-yard stretch of river with categories including skiffs, punts and canoes.
There will be a new food court this year and a gift shop with regatta memorabilia.
Tickets cost £10 for the whole weekend or £7 for the Saturday only. Car parking is available in Mill Lane for £5.
