THE main house at Stonor Park is opening to the public for Christmas for the first time in its 850-year history.
From November 28 until December 4, visitors can take a tour of the property while it is dressed for the festive season.
Fires will be lit and the rooms will be decorated with holly, mistletoe, ribbons and candles while a Christmas tree will be set up in the Gothic Hall. Food and drinks including turkey pies, shortbread, mince pies and mulled wine will be available and a gift shop will be open.
