A COMPANY wants to use part of a scrapyard near Ewelme to store aggregates, cement and water.
Manor Mix also wants to create a parking area for staff cars and lorries at the Mains Motors scrapyard in Old Henley Road.
The company’s application to South Oxfordshire District Council says: “Manor Mix is an established cement-mixing business where the mixing takes place at the construction site.
“The proposal includes outdoor storage bins to hold the aggregates, a cement silo and re-use of existing hardstanding and buildings.
“Activities within the site are therefore essentially limited to deliveries, vehicle waiting/parking areas, space for manoeuvring and a washdown area for vehicles returning from construction sites.”
