A HERD of Aberdeen Angus cattle, a giant golden pear and a 4m-high glass agapanthus can all be seen in a new exhibition at The Sculpture Garden.

These are just a few examples of work by 20 sculptors on show in the beautiful grounds of the Odney Club in Odney Lane, Cookham, made available by The John Lewis Partnership in support of Cookham Festival.

Many of the sculptors are local, including Dick Budden from Waltham St Lawrence, Julie Grose of Wallingford and Anne Arlidge from Stonor, alongside internationally known names such as Helen Sinclair RBS, Carol Andrews RBS, Sarah Walton and Jenny Pickford.

The collection has been put together by Lucy Irvine of Barn Galleries, who said: “We so enjoy being part of Cookham Festival and curating The Sculpture Garden in these magnificent grounds, it really gives the sculptures a chance to shine.”

The exhibition is open from 10am to 5pm from tomorrow (Saturday) until Sunday, May 17. Entry costs £2 for adults, children are free.
