Find a sense of place

AN exhibition of landscape, poetry and crafts has opened at Reading Museum.

AN exhibition of landscape, poetry and crafts has opened at Reading Museum.

The Sense of Place exhibition can be viewed in the Sir John Madejski Art Gallery, which features a selection of the museum’s 20th century landscape paintings. There is also a chance to see the huge Reading tapestries by John Piper, an artist whose work is regularly featured at the Bohun gallery in Henley.

During next year there will be a number of workshops on offer at the museum inspired by the exhibition. Visitors will be asked to make their own contributions via poems, sketches, comments or ideas.

Sense of Place runs until April.
