HAVE you ever wondered about mindfulness and how you might be able to incorporate it into your life? If so, then a Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) is an excellent place to begin.
The MBLC is similar to other mindfulness-based courses, such as MBCT or MBSR, but it also includes methods for nurturing self-compassion and compassion for others.
The aims of MBLC is to help individuals develop an in-depth personal experience of mindfulness and develop a sustained personal practice with a view to applying this into their everyday life.
MBLC meets the good practice guidelines and is a course recognised by the UK Network of Mindfulness Based Teachers.
Teachers Mary Niker and Brenda Bentley are bringing this popular two-day course back to Henley on Saturday, March 25, and Saturday, April 29. The course is delivered over 16 hours at St Katherine’s in Parmoor and costs just £195, with light lunch and refreshments on both days. This course is suitable for beginners or those seeking to deepen their practice. Each session consists of explanation, guided practices and group reflection and inquiry. Also included are a handbook, notes and guided meditation audio downloads.
