PILATES has long been recognised as an effective low impact form of exercise for building strength, lean muscle tone and improving flexibility.

Through use of a specialised piece of equipment called the Reformer, Carine Moffett of Nubodi Pilates offers a powerful Pilates workout tailored to the goals and ability level of the client.

Carine was initially drawn to the Reformer for its versatility and scope.

She said: “Originally developed to offer movement to ballet dancers and rehab to the injured, today we use it to alter the intensity and challenge of the workout to strengthen the whole body. It can also be adapted for a cardiovascular workout.”

With a maximum of six students per class, Carine provides individual quality attention throughout the session. She is a certified Stott Pilates instructor with extensive expertise in matwork, reformer and barre classes.

Two beginner Pilates Reformer courses are starting this September. This course is specifically designed for you if you have never done Pilates before or have previously done some mat Pilates.

The course is restricted to no more than six people and once completed you can join any of the classes on our timetable.

The first course date is Wednesday, September 7, at 10.30pm, followed by Thursday, September 8, at 1.30pm. Both take place at NoLimits Henley, located next to Tesco. The cost of the course is £120.
