I OFFER hands-on therapy to help with tight muscles, chronic pain, postural and joint mobility issues, using a variety of safe soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilisation techniques and remedial exercises, writes Isabelle Brough.

A soft tissue therapy session starts by a review of your medical history, lifestyle and result expected, followed by an assessment of your skeletal alignment, joint mobility and muscle firing patterns. When the neuromusculoskeletal system is aligned and balanced all the body systems can function properly with the least amount of unnecessary tension and wear and tear.

Each session is tailored to your individual needs. I always explain what I am doing and what I am finding, regularly asking for feedback so you are actively involved.

My aim is to help you release built-up tension and correct any misalignments through awareness and movement, setting you on the path to long-term health.

I enjoy seeing people of all ages and walks of life, from elite athletes to weekend warriors as well as manual and office workers.

I am a member of both the Association for Soft Tissue Therapists (SMA) and the Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists (ISRM). You are welcome to contact me at isabellebrough@btconnect.com or on 07806 792880.
