Pilates ABC Henley is owned by Pilates devotee Alyth Yealland.

Alyth started Pilates to help her back pain. Delighted with her own success, she trained to teach.

Alyth keeps her classes small to makes sure her clients receive individual attention. She teaches gentle balanced exercise to help improve everyday posture, flexibility, muscle tone, joint and back pain.

“I take a real pleasure in watching my clients progress, watching the natural changes Pilates brings about in their bodies,” says Alyth.

“The summer is a fabulous time of year to take up Pilates. The warmer weather helps clients stretch more fluidly. Its also a great way to unwind while still exercising.”

Movements are choreographed to suit the individual, adapting or offering as needed. Beginners are always welcome and a free taster class is available to all newcomers.

Alyth teaches Pilates for all levels. She also teaches Pilates for hip and knee replacements, arthritis, breathing, falls prevention, scoliosis, Parkinson’s and osteopaenia/ osteoporosis.

Pilates ABC Henley offers classes for the community in Henley, Crazies Hill, Hurley, Knowl Hill and Sonning Common.

Alyth’s newest class is Pilates for Parkinson’s. Alyth can be contacted on 07521 699265 or by email at alyth@pilatesabc.co.uk — or visit the website www.pilatesabc.co.uk
