Meet new people and keep fit by learning to dance

YEARS ago we were blessed with numerous ballrooms which people could frequent and practise their Foxtrot and Waltz.

Sadly, over the years, many of these majestic ballrooms have given way to new retail outlets and office blocks.

It seemed that ballroom dancing was to become a lost art form.

But, over the past decade the popularity of dancing has increased tremendously, mainly due to the success of Strictly Come Dancing.

Learning to dance is so wonderful in so many ways. Not only is it the social aspect of meeting new people and having fun, it’s also a very good way of exercising. Dancing can really become a part of you and a very important part of going out together, as a couple.

It’s really quite rewarding learning how to ‘rise and fall’ in a Waltz, feeling the passion of a Tango or the cheeky energy of a lively Cha Cha.

So many people say they can’t dance, but we have never failed to teach anyone to dance! So, why don’t you give it a try?

The Miles School of Dancing has classes to suit everyone.
