Now pilates is as easy as ABC for children

PILATES ABC Henley is owned by local resident Alyth Yealland.

PILATES ABC Henley is owned by local resident Alyth Yealland.

She says: “I am so lucky to have such a rewarding job — it’s wonderful watching my clients progress, noticing the improvements in posture and movement as the months go by. I keep my classes small to keep a good client-teacher ratio.”

As of this month, Alyth is delighted to introduce private sessions for children (DBS-registered).

This is in addition to her existing timetable of group matwork classes and private sessions for adults.

Pilates comprises a series of balanced gentle exercises and makes for a fabulous full-body workout — helping stability, flexibility and strength. It also aids relaxation.

A free group matwork taster is available for all newcomers.

Alyth teaches Pilates for all levels of fitness. She teaches Pilates for children, antenatal and postnatal clients, balance, diastasis recti (separated tummy muscles), arthritis, breathing, falls prevention, hip and knee replacements, osteopaenia/osteoporosis, Parkinson’s and scoliosis.

Pilates ABC Henley runs classes for the community in Henley, Crazies Hill, Hurley, Knowl Hill and Sonning Common.

The classes are suitable for everyone, including those in their eighties onwards.

Beginners are welcome.
