FOLLOWING on from Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Bracknell Town, Henley Town return to the Triangle Ground this week with back-to-back home fixtures.
Tomorrow (Saturday) the Red Kites entertain Tuffley Rovers in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division (kick-off 3pm).
There have been nine previous meetings between Henley and Tuffley, all between 2001/02 and 2004/05. Henley have won only once and drawn three times, yet Tuffley have never scored more than two, so very defensive battles.
Henley Town are in action at home again on Tuesday when they entertain Ascot United in another league fixture (kick-off 7.45pm).
There have been eight previous meetings with Ascot, the first being in 2007/08 and the last in 2013/14. Each team have won three times, plus two draws.
Henley Town Reserves narrowly went down to a 1-0 defeat at home to Thame United Reserves in Division 2 East of the Uhlsport Hellenic League last Saturday with the only goal of the game coming in the first half.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Henley Town Reserves travel to Wilks Park to face second-placed Flackwell Heath Reserves (kick-off 3pm).
Henley Town Youth team suffered their first defeat of the season last week when they went down 3-1 at home to Bicester Town with Liam Tindell scoring for the hosts. The youth team are next in action on Monday when they travel to Aylesbury for a league cup tie (kick-off 7.45pm).
Henley Town AFC do not have a fixture this Sunday.
