Kidmore End and Henley Town turn up the heat

EMMER GREEN got back to winning ways as they came from behind to defeat visitors EASTERN RANGERS 3-1 in their Senior Division clash.

Rangers raced into a 1-0 lead after five minutes when they netted from the penalty spot.

Emmer Green thought they had equalised on 15 minutes when Richard Bennett found Matt Fox but the referee deemed that his head had not crossed the line.

Soon after the hosts were on level terms when a ball was played to Luke Donegan on the 18 yard box who finished in the bottom right hand corner.

Donegan doubled his tally to put Emmer Green ahead with another finish into the bottom right hand corner. In the second half a good defensive display from Adam Tombs at the back and in-form keeper Mark Compton kept the hosts in the lead.
