HENLEY Town Football Club says it has lost more than £1,000 in revenue due to the floods.

The club has been unable to play a match at its Triangle Ground in Mill Lane since December 17.

Secretary Tony Kingston said: “The clubhouse bar is a major source of income but the club has been unable to use it for almost a month and without this income the club has been unable to pay its bills.

“We haven’t taken a penny since December 17. If it goes on much longer it will get dangerous for us.”
