Fair play

A NEW women’s team at Watlington Town Football Club is appealing for players.

The squad was formed in May and the players train at Watlington recreation ground on a Tuesday evenings from 8pm with coach Heidi Bates, who is FA level two qualified.

Katie Griffiths, the club’s events, sponsorship and fund-raising officer, said: “We are looking to recruit players. Any level of ability is welcome as we are not looking to enter a league until the 2015-2016 season at the earliest.”
