Hotshot Heath’s four goals help keep Wargrave top

SONNING remain pointless at the foot of the Division 1 table after going down to their heaviest defeat of the season at Pound Lane on Saturday where they lost 11-2 against local rivals WOODLEY HAMMERS.

In Division 2 GORING UNITED crashed to a 4-2 home defeat against READING YMCA RAPIDS.

The visitors raced into a 2-0 lead inside the first 25 minutes of the match. Goring replied through a free kick from Alex Fletcher, which went in off a post. Rapids netted again to lead 3-1 at half-time.

Goring again got back into the game from a corner when a Rapids defender put through his own net. However, the visitors made sure of victory as they netted a fourth goal late in the game.

WOODCOTE/STOKE ROW RESERVES gained their second Division 3 point of the season when they drew 3-3 at WOODLEY A.
