A HILARY LUNN goal earned visitors AFC Henley Hurricanes U12s a point from the East Berks League Division 1 encounter at Charvil.
Sam Clark opened the scoring with a powerful left foot shot after a through ball from Ethan Pearce on 16 minutes but the Hurricanes had to be thankful to goalkeeper Sam Butler after he produced a string of fine saves to keep Charvil at bay.
After the break Charvil pulled level and took the lead on 40 minutes with a counterattack and shot down the right.
The visitors kept battling and playing some neat football with Jake Blackwell and Clark terrorising Charvil down both flanks.
Eventually the hard work paid off when Lunn’s deflected shot beat the home goalkeeper to give the away side a point.
