AFC HENLEY HOTSPURS U12s came out on top in an incident packed East Berks League match against PINEWOOD U12s on Saturday.
Hotspurs enjoyed most of the possession in the first half but it took a penalty from captain Max Gaskin to break the deadlock.
The game opened up after the break with Christian Oswald bagging a second half hat-trick and Jerome Rocks breaking through to score.
Pinewood grabbed a consolation goal against the run of play with the back three of Penrose, Gaskin and Wright limiting opposition chances against in form goalkeeper Matthew Balchin. A retaken penalty following encroachment produced a save from the busy Pinewood keeper as Henley ran out 5-1 winners.
Hat-trick hero Leo Browne netted a last-minute goal as hosts AFC HENLEY HOTSPURS U11s drew 5-5 with BRACKNELL TOWN WOLVES U11s in the East Berks League.
