Tegg nets a second half hat-trick for in-form Wargrave Reserves

MID-TABLE Senior Division sides MORTIMER and ROTHERFIELD UNITED picked up a point each from their goalless draw at the Alfred Palmer Memorial playing fields.

In Division 1 promotion chasing SONNING eased to a comfortable 4-1 win away to TAPLOW UNITED RESERVES. Nathan Manser, Sean Moore, Tom Slade and Charlie Sumner were the scorers for the visitors.

WARGRAVE eased to a comfortable 5-0 win away to basement side WOODLEY TOWN A.

The visitors dominated from the start of the match and raced into a 3-0 half-time lead with two goals from Stuart Moss — the first from 25 yards — and one from Tom Bray. Wargrave added two more goals late in the second half, one a header from Callum Hunter and the other a back flick from captain Ben Carter.

GORING UNITED went down to a 4-1 defeat away to high-flying BERKSHIRE UNITED. Jack Murray was on target for Goring.
