THE Henley Charity Cup semi-final between local rivals from the Reading Saturday League’s Senior Division saw Rotherfield United take an early lead at Henley Town’s Mill Lane Ground. Tom Candish fired home after being set up by Paul Sumner.
James Worsfold equalised before Toby Nowell put Woodcote/Stoke Row 2-1 up.
After the break Jordan Cuthbert made the score 2-2 when his cross lopped into the goal at the far post. With the match heading towards a penalty shoot-out Worsfold netted his second of the match to earn Woodcote/Stoke Row side a place in the final.
The other semi-final between Henley Town and Hambleden will be played at the Triangle ground on April 17 (kick-off 7.30pm).
