HOSTS Watlington Town produced a fine second half display to secure all three Oxfordshire Senior League Division 1 points on Saturday against Kidlington Old Boys.
Kidlington started the brighter of the two teams but despite having the majority of the possession were unable to test James Conn in the Watlington goal.
As the half went on Watlington began to find their feet. On 30 minutes Stevenson was put through by Rigozzi, but was unable to find the target from a tight angle. Minutes later Stevenson got on the end of a Pete Ashman cross, but again just missed out on putting the Town in front.
Jonny Pitts also came close when he and Stevenson combined well, but it was to be goal-less at half-time.
Watlington went ahead on the hour mark when Clements hassled for the ball in midfield. This led to a stray back pass from the Kidlington centre-half which allowed Yeulet to pounce and poke the ball through the leg.
