Late strike leaves visitors searching for win

Watlington Town Res 0, Marcham 1

WATLINGTON TOWN are still searching for their first North Berks Division 1 win of the season despite putting in a good display last Saturday.

The visitors went down 2-1 to Crowmarsh despite dominating for long periods of the game.

The hosts took the lead after 15 minutes from the penalty spot. Watlington responded almost immediately when Gary Mandihza chased down what appeared to be a lost cause. Eventually after a pinball-like exchange with the goalkeeper, Luke Yeulet was on hand to score from close range with his third goal in as many matches.
