ROTHERFIELD UNITED climbed out of the John Dell Senior Division relegation zone thanks to a 4-3 win at MORTIMER in a match that saw all the goals scored in the second half.

Mortimer took the lead after 54 minutes before Ben Keable equalised 10 minutes later.

The hosts restored their lead five minutes later only for Max Grandison to equalise on 74 minutes with a diving header from a corner.

Rotherfield took the lead for the first time in the game on 78 minutes when a low Darren Ritchie cross found Keable who netted his second of the match.

Mortimer equalised after 86 minutes. Substitute Ricky Sidhu netted the winner for the visitors two minutes from time when he volleyed home from the edge of the box.

In the Premier Division, GORING UNITED suffered a 2-1 defeat away to relegation-threatened WESTWOOD UNITED RESERVES.

Basement side WOODCOTE/STOKE ROW RESERVES suffered a 4-1 defeat at home to BERKSHIRE UNITED. Nigel Clark was the scorer for the hosts.

Michael Hunt netted twice for ROTHERFIELD UNITED RESERVES in their 4-2 victory over SONNING SPORTS in Division 3.

Ben Cousins from the penalty spot and Paul Langham were the other scorers for the Bishopswood side.
