Red Kites cash plea

HENLEY TOWN Football Club are appealing for donations to help the Red Kites get their floodlights fixed.

The recent stormy weather led to two of the pylons being damaged by gale force winds.

Secretary of the club, Tony Kingston said: “After a visit from the insurance assessor the club are hoping to be able to claim on their policy to correct the damage but the club must find £500 excess from somewhere.

“The club exist mainly on income from the bar and pitch hire so with the facility being out of use for almost two months no income has been coming to pay the bills.”

Anyone wishing to help should contact either vice chairman Kim Chapman on 07515 892909 or Tony Kingston on 07712 139592.
