GORING ROBINS U12s eased to a comfortable 9-2 Berkshire Youth Development League win against BURGHFIELD CSA PANTHERS U12s on Saturday.

The Panthers took the lead after just two minutes before James Pearson equalised for the Robins four minutes later.

The Panthers forced a number of good saves from Tom Canning, whilst at the other end Pearson and Matthew Bell linked up well. Just before the quarter-hour mark Pearson netted again.

Goring’s third came from a point blank shot from the right by Samir Enright.

After 26 minutes Bell found the net, closely followed by a further brace from Pearson.

Goring made a number of changes after the break, before Bell netted his side’s seventh of the match.

Bertie Spencer scored from the left in the 43rd minute before the Panthers pulled a goal back against the run of play. Canning, playing out field, netted the ninth with three minutes remaining.

GORING ROBINS U15s ran out 5-3 winners away to NPL YOUTH U15s to go top of the East Berkshire Alliance Division 6 table on Saturday.

Robins took the lead when Jack Payne headed from a corner early on. Goring dominated the first 15 minutes adding two more goals from Robert Brown and a long range shot from George Turner.

The second half saw NPL fight back with two goals against a tiring Robins defence.

Will Bovington made two good saves to keep Goring ahead before Cam Arthur scored, only for NPL to come back to make it 4-3.

The Robins defence held up well with Tom Bell now pulled back to help defend the lead. With eight minutes remaining Robins scored again through Brown to help his side knock NPL Youth off the top of the table.
