WATLINGTON TOWN went down at home to Crowmarsh Gifford to remain near the base of the North Berks League Division 1 table after a disappointing first home game of 2015 on Saturday.
Julian Pitts and Will Jaycock scored for the hosts but Town were undone four times by Crowmarsh, who netted through Josh Chapman and Daryl Franklin with a goal each, and Tim Holtom with a brace.

WATLINGTON RESERVES claimed a creditable draw away to Division 5 second-placed side Wallingford.
Andy Wright came off the bench to score a crucial equaliser as Watlington held the promotion-chasing hosts to a 1-1 draw at Hithercroft.
Wallingford took the lead midway through the first half with a well-taken strike, as the visitors matched their opponents for effort but were unable to create any clear-cut chances.
In the second half Watlington made changes and their new set up immediately had the desired effect, with the hosts pinned in their own half as pressure mounted. Chances came and went for Carter-Knight and Newbold but Wright scored the decisive goal when he lashed the ball in on the half-volley from an angle.
