A minute before half-time another mix-up at the back for Emmer Green led to Ghana Stars equalising.

The hosts took the lead 10 minutes into the second half when John Donegan fouled a player in the penalty area and a Stars player netted from the resulting spot kick.

Emmer Green levelled soon after when a through ball to Luke Donegan on the right saw him run at the defence and find Chris Read in the box who headed home the equaliser.

The visitors took the lead when Chris Pilling played a through ball to Luke Donegan who ran down the right before finding Crean who netted his second of the match to put the visitors 4-3 up. Soon after Emmer Green went 5-3 ahead when Read netted his second of the match.

With a minute of the match remaining a corner was cleared from Matt Fox which found Dan Donegan who played a long ball to Read who beat the keeper in a one-on-one situation to wrap up the scoring and complete his hat-trick.

GORING UNITED slipped to a disappointing 2-0 Division 1 West defeat at home to bottom-of-the-table BURGHFIELD. The visitors netted both their goals in the first 25 minutes of the match.

The opening goal came courtesy of an own goal from a corner. Stuart Owen scored the second followed by Danny Braine dribbling through the defence before firing home the third. Danny Clare rounded off the scoring with a goal scored from outside the box.
