Of the matches KIDMORE END picked up a point in their Senior Division relegation clash at Gallowstree Common as they were held to a 2-2 draw by BARTON ROVERS.

In Division 1 West GORING UNITED went down to a 5-1 defeat at home to undefeated league leaders TILEHURST CLUB.

Goring were reduced to 10 men after 15 minutes whengoalkeeper Andrew Symonds was sent off for bringing a man down outside his area. Soon after this Tilehurst scored to go 1-0 up. Despite being a man short Goring played the better of the opening stages and missed out on a chance to equalise when fullback Jonny Wale went past four players before bring brought down in the penalty area. The Tilehurst player was subsequently sent off but Sam Green’s penalty kick was saved.

In the second half Tilehurst grew stronger and scored four more goals. Jon Nicholas latched on to a Sam Green pass to score a consolation for the hosts.
