Overdue win for Town

HENLEY TOWN gained their first win in league or cup since December 7 when they triumphed

HENLEY TOWN gained their first win in league or cup since December 7 when they triumphed 3–2 at SOUTHBANK in their Premier Division clash.

The match was a vital one for both sides, with Henley standing bottom but one and Southbank one place above them. Ryan Finch gave Henley an early lead, only for the home side to go 2–1 in front by half–time. But second–half goals from Finch again and Micky Bell brought the Town a deserved victory.

In Division 3 East relegated HENLEY YMCA UNITED ended their campaign with a 4–3 defeat at their Lawson Road Ground to LODDON VALLEY RANGERS RESERVES.
