Five wins on the bounce secure league title for Casuals

THE Henley YMCA Casuals team for men aged 16 and over with a learning disability finished

THE Henley YMCA Casuals team for men aged 16 and over with a learning disability finished the 2014-15 season with their third league championship success in six years.

Promoted from the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire Inclusion (BOBI) conference division two seasons ago, the team went into the final round of games hosted by Northampton Town just four points ahead of their nearest rivals in the race for the Division 2 title.

Henley won all five of their matches to become champions. Their cause was helped by goalkeeper and team captain John Andrews keeping a clean sheet throughout the day.

Henley YMCA has excellent all-weather football facilities and accredited, CRB cleared, FA coaches waiting to welcome anyone, male or female, with a learning disability who would like to play football.
