WARGRAVE Girls’ FC is to hold an open day to recruit new players.

WARGRAVE Girls’ FC is to hold an open day to recruit new players.

The event will take place at the recreation ground, off Recreation Road, on Saturday, September 12 from 9.30am to 11am.

There will be refreshments for players and parents.

Wargrave Girls was founded in 2000 and plays at Kings Field in the village. Home Secretary and Maidenhead MP Theresa May is the club’s president.

The club already has more than 150 players and 10 teams from under-eights to under-18s.
