THE Red Kites were looking to get back on track after last week’s heavy defeat as they faced unbeaten Bicester Town at home on  Saturday.
The crowd didn’t have to wait long as Adam Bygrave headed in a Richard Bennett corner after just six minutes.
Bicester were not to be outdone and winger Nicholas was able to skip past his marker and slot past Henley keeper Steven Fairchild on 21 minutes.
Bennett then went on a goal spree, finding the net in the 37th and 44th minutes to give Henley a well deserved lead.
For the first he capitalised on a defensive error where Bicester failed to clear their penalty area and the second when he rolled the defender before smashing the ball home.
Henley knew they had to be strong the second half to withstand the attacks that they knew would come.
Unfortunately this wasn’t the case and Bicester captain Bone managed to get them back as early as a minute after the break to make it 3-2.
The game was end-to-end and Bicester grabbed an equaliser on 76 minutes through Bone again.
Henley then went straight up the other end again and Bennett scored a fine individual goal to get his hat-trick and restore the Red Kites’ lead.
Bicester never gave up and the introduction of a few fresh players helped them find the equaliser following a Johnson header in the 88th minute to earn a draw.
