In a stuttering first half the visitors looked as if they had done enough to claim the three points as they took a 2-0 lead.
A free kick on 32 minutes saw Jake Dillon fire home in spite of the home keeper’s heroic effort to keep it out. Five minutes later top-scorer Toby Nowell made it 2-0 with a left foot chip over the advancing keeper after Andy Bullett’s fine through ball had put him in the clear.
At the end of the half Jake Dillon had a good chance to make it three but missed the target before former Woodcote player Teejay Allison hit the post with a free kick for Unity.
The visitors conceded straight after half-time and this encouraged the home side who began to get the better of a hesitant Woodcote defence.
As the game entered added time Unity exploited more defensive frailties to score the equaliser.
Elsewhere in the division ROTHERFIELD UNITED ran out 4-2 winners away to HIGHMOOR/IBIS RESERVES.
Patrick Gardner opened the scoring with his fifth goal in three games as Ricky Sidhu played the ball through and Gardner fired past the keeper.
Ibis pulled level just before half time when they were awarded a free kick on the right hand side of the box which they played in along the deck and their striker stroked it into the near post.
United regained the lead just before half-time when Cuthbert played Attfield in and he struck the ball home from the edge of the box.
The visitors netted their third when Cuthbert crossed in from the left and Attfield beat the defender to the ball and poked it home.
Ibis pulled a goal back when United lost possession from their own throw and the hosts ran down the right and crossed in to score.
The visitors secured the win when Attfield outpaced Highmoor’s defence down the left and crossed for Candish to pass in from six yards.
In Division 2 GORING UNITED ran out comfortable 4-1 winners away to SONNING.
Clive Akem-Che was on target for the hosts while Toby Briggs, Matthew Poloszynski, John Ramsay and Richard Skidmore netted for the visitors.
WOODCOTE/STOKE ROW RESERVES dropped into the relegation places after a 3-0 defeat at home to WARGRAVE.
Shaun Kitzinger opened the scoring on five minutes after flicking the ball over a defender with his left foot and then volleying home with his right foot from the edge of the box.
Tom Bray made it 2-0 with a delicate chip in the second half before John Rimmer wrapped up the scoring in the final minutes of the game.
WARGRAVE RESERVES dropped to second from bottom in Division 3 after going down 3-1 away to BAUGHURST AFC. Daniel Tegg scored the visitors’ only goal of the match.
