SC UNITED crashed out of the Industrial Cup at the semi-final stage against AFC Burghfield with all five goals being scored by their lone striker.
The poacher latched on to five long balls over the top of the home defence before coolly slotting the ball home. He made it 2-0 at half-time before grabbing two more after the restart.
United’s Tim Bicknall pulled a goal back with 20 minutes to go, nutmegging both their left-back and goalkeeper before tapping in. Substitute Seve Mayberry then added a second, cutting inside from the right wing before blasting past the keeper.
Bicknall was then fouled in the box but his penalty was saved which started an AFC breakaway which brought their fifth goal.
