JOE MCDONALD and Sam Agg gave Rotherfield Rebels a two-goal lead early on but the Hurricanes then steadied the ship with an emergency centre back pairing of Archie Barker and Liam Hilditch.
Then Owen Simmons, Lucas Pestana and Jamie Hudson started to turn the tide in midfield and it was Pestana who fired Henley back into the game, calmly lobbing the keeper from outside the area.
The Hurricanes moved through the gears in the second half. Ben Hudson levelled a rasping half volley before brother Jamie Hudson latched on to Barker’s flick before smashing the ball into the roof of the net.
Rotherfield responded immediately with McDonald taking advantage of some poor Henley defending to level the score.
Jem McAllister then had a goal chalked off for Henley after being ruled offside but he made no mistake when he met birthday boy Felix Butter’s cross with a volley in what was the last kick of the game to secure the win.
