HENLEY TOWN secured their place in the Reading Senior Cup final on Thursday of last week as they ran out 3-2 winners against Westwood United at Scours Lane.
Asa Povey put the Red Kites ahead on 19 minutes when a Jack Thomson-Wheeler cross found the awaiting Richard Bennett whose shot ricocheted off the Westwood keeper and Povey followed in on the rebound.
Westwood equalised on 40 minutes when Henley failed to clear their own area and Storrar found himself unmarked to equalise.
On the stroke of half-time Sean Moore broke free of the Westwood defence before unleashing a shot past keeper Barnes to put the Hellenic League side ahead.
In an open second half Henley extended their lead when substitute Ben Clark followed up a Grant Kemp shot to put his side 3-1 up with 10 minutes remaining.
Westwood piled on the pressure and pulled a goal back on 85 minutes through Badger when he fired home through a crowded area.
