FREE advice on how to prune fruit trees is being offered by Cross Lanes Fruit Farm in Mapledurham.
Half-day courses will be held on Tuesday, February 4 and Saturday, February 8 and on other days if demand is high.
The business has been running the courses for 17 years, using some of its 2,000 trees, which have to be pruned twice a year.
Owner Gill Franklin said: “You may well have had a bumper crop of fruit last autumn but will you get good fruit every year? The secret lies in the pruning.
“Why not come to a practical morning course where you will learn how to prune any fruit tree, be it old and neglected or newly planted.
