Vice captain batters rivals to secure title

BADGEMORE Park’s vice-captain David Haddock became the club’s new club champion following last weekend’s two-day championship

BADGEMORE Park’s vice-captain David Haddock became the club’s new club champion following last weekend’s two-day championship which was contested by 60 players.

At the conclusion of the first day, the leaderboard showed 10 players all within four shots of the leader Kevin Grant on 79.

However, Haddock carded a first round 80 followed by a second round 79 for a total gross score of 159.

Runner-up on countback was Angus Harris-White, carding 82 in the first round and 79 in the second to record a gross score of 161 with Stuart Shermann adding a total of 82 to his first round 79 to finish third, on countback, from Angus Harris-White, carding 82 in the first round and 79 in the second.
