PATRICK ANDERSON’S first hole in one on the 18th was not enough to knock Maggie Easton off the top as overall winner of the August Midweek Medal qualifier with a net 63 strokes at Mapledurham Golf Club.

Runner-up was Mathew Iremonger after a countback against Damian Cleary who both returned net 66s. Best gross score was Iremonger with 77. Six players had a two or better on the par three holes. Division 1 was a battle between Iremonger, Cleary and Steve Adey who all returned net 66 on their cards with Iremonger taking the top podium position.

Theodora Farley took Division 2 with a net 71. The runner-up spot was close with five players recording net 72. However after countback John Roberts was second followed by Gary Wetherley in third place. Maggie Easton was out on her own with her 63 points in Division 3. Carole Gardner with 68 was second followed by Cliff Emery on 69.
