Welsh team battle hard to secure home international title

TEAM WALES fought hard to win the Home International competition at The Club at Mapledurham on Saturday.

Teams of 12 for England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales played a Stableford format, with best 10 scores to count. Each match consisted of one player from each country; the winner getting five extra points for their team.

Sean Edgar, Simon Sawyer, Tsetso Petrov and Michael Sutton all claimed extra points for the victorious Welsh side.

Scotland were runners-up with England third and Ireland fourth.
