Club pros complete 117 holes

THE club professionals at Badgemore Park, Dan Hawkins and Lee Gauthier, undertook a longest day challenge on behalf of the captain’s charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

The duo teed off at 4.30am and by 8.30am had completed two rounds of golf.

Almost running between shots, both players had scored better than they did in the Badgemore pro am tournament.

Throughout the day, the standard of golf was extremely high, and despite exhaustion, both players raised their game.

At the end of the day both players had completed six-and-a-half rounds of golf, 117 holes and had racked up 23 birdies.
