Badgemore Park’s new ladies’ captain tees off

THE new ladies’ captain of Badgemore Park Golf Club, Gill Bertram, teed off her year in office last week.

A large field of ladies played a nine hole three ball alliance, full handicap off the first and 10th holes.

The winners on the front nine were Ann Weston, Eileen Paddick and Anne Grosfort with 41 points. Second were Janine Glen, Wendy Jelden and Sarah Deriaz with 39 points.

The winners on the back nine were Alison Wood, Sylvine Andrews and Dorothy Arlett with 38 points while second place was Lorraine Simmons, Sonia Jenkins and Dorothy Arlett with 37.

Bertram has chosen the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust as her charity this year for which £260 was raised.



Last year’s captain, Sylvine Andrews handed over a cheque for £5,340 raised by her charity, to John Fulger, Chairman of Maidenhead MENCAP.
