Druce duo dominate

THE May midweek medal at Mapledurham resulted in a family affair as Darren and Paul Druce

THE May midweek medal at Mapledurham resulted in a family affair as Darren and Paul Druce secured first and second places.

Both play off a 14 handicap and both returned a net score of 66. However after a countback Darren took the honours in first place. Best gross score of 77 was carded by Tanveer Abbas.

Division 1 was dominated by the Druce brothers with both scoring 66. Third place went to Simon Sawyer with a net 67. Don Manson took Division 2 with a net 67 while Carol Pearse was runner-up after a countback from Mike Ford with both returning scores of net 69.
