GYMNASTS from Henley’s Springbox club secured eight gold medals at the second of this year’s south
GYMNASTS from Henley’s Springbox club secured eight gold medals at the second of this year’s south three piece competition.
The gymnasts, who performed on floor, vault and trampette at Bracknell, came away with 25 medals in all.
In the boys’ section, Riley Brooks won two golds and a silver as the four to six-year-olds won their group overall. Fraser Poet took two silvers in the six to eight-year-olds’ section while Hayden Brooks won two golds and a silver as the eight to 10 years section. The most impressive winning round was in the girls group section for eight to 10 years as they triumphed against 50 gymnasts.
Sophie Dodd won two golds and a bronze to secure gold overall, Issy Holden took a gold, silver and bronze to take silver overall while Olivia Belcher secured bronze to claim bronze overall in her group.
In the girls’ group section for 10 to 13 years, Jessica McDonagh secured bronze. In the girls’ over 13 category Joy Rushton secured two silvers while Evie Amos took bronze.
