Flu vaccines offered free to the vulnerable

SURGERIES in the Henley area will offer free flu vaccinations to vulnerable people this winter.

SURGERIES in the Henley area will offer free flu vaccinations to vulnerable people this winter.

Pregnant women, people over 65 and those with long-term health issues, such as asthma, diabetes or heart disease, or with a weakened immune system are most at risk.

The free vaccine is also available to healthcare workers, carers and people living in residential homes.

Flu clinics will be held in the following surgeries:

The Hart Surgery, Henley, on Saturdays, September 22 and October 24 (mornings only). There may also be drop-in sessions for adults in the afternoon.

The Bell Surgery, Henley, on Saturdays, October 15 and November 12.

Nettlebed Surgery, drop-in clinic on Saturdays, October 1 and 15 from 8.30am to noon.

Millstream Surgery, Benson, on Saturday, September 24 from 8.30am to 11.30am.

Brook Surgery, Chalgrove, drop-in clinic on Tuesday, October 11 from 9am to 3pm.

Chiltern Surgery, Watlington, drop-in clinic on Wednesday, October 19 from 9am to 3pm.

Goring Surgery on Saturdays, September 17 and October 1, by appointment only.

Woodcote Surgery on Saturdays, September 24 and October 8, by appointment only.

Sonning Common Health Centre on Saturdays, September 24, October 8 and October 22, from 8.30am to 10am; Mondays, September 26, October 3 and October 10, from 12.30pm to 2pm; and Wednesdays, September 28, October 5 and October 12, from 12.30pm to 2pm and 5.30pm to 7pm. All by appointment only.
