SHOPPERS have been asked not to use the car park at Townlands Hospital in Henley unless they are visiting it.
The plea was made by the firm redeveloping the site at a public meeting to update residents on progress of the new £16 million “health campus”.
About 20 residents attended the meeting at Henley town hall.
Mike Leto, project director for Amber Solutions for Care, said people often used the hospital to park while shopping in the town centre.
He said: “We recognise this is going to be tough but if everybody can help spread the word to not use the Townlands site unless you are actually using the hospital facility.
