Praise for retiring GP

A DOCTOR has retired from the Bell Surgery in Henley after 18 years.

A DOCTOR has retired from the Bell Surgery in Henley after 18 years.

Dr Virginia Stephens, a partner in the York Road practice, stepped down yesterday (Thursday).

A surgery spokeswoman said: “Dr Stephens will be greatly missed by everyone at the surgery and patients alike.We thank her for her amazing contribution over the years and wish her every happiness and good heatlh in her retirement.”

Her successor is Dr Amar Latif, who joins as a GP partner on April 12.

He is deputy clinical lead for the Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group’s south-eastern locality and previously worked at the Goring and Woodcote Medical Practice.
