Students rewarded for achievement and effort

STUDENTS were honoured for their achievements and effort at The Henley College’s annual Education Awards.

Awards were presented in different areas of study including A-levels, vocational courses and apprenticeships.

Among the winners from Henley were Sally Kuspisz, 18, who received the award for history, Lauren Hunt, 18, (geography), Ross Duncan, 19, (music), William Emerson, 18, (foundation award) and Bella Carter, 19, (level 2 hairdressing award).

Forty-nine awards were presented at the prize-giving ceremony, which was attended by students, staff and sponsors including local businesses.

College principal Satwant Deol said: “I was delighted to meet so many of our talented students and their proud families at the awards evening.” The other students in the picture are as follows: Norbert Nemcsik, Jonathan Matthews, Charles Harris, Joe Carter, Nyasha Banda, Thomas Baker, Adrian Rodriguez-Sobstel, Philip Hunt, Caroline Sayers, Ellie Philpot, Emily Rose, Kelly Stewart, Ellena Waite, Olivia Foster-Browne, Naomi Chitnok, Amy Wilson, Hannah Allum, Plum Lea, Elizabeth Rodulson and Erin Whitty.
