THREE flats could be built behind a record shop in Henley.
Andrew Morgan has applied to build on an unused service area at the rear of In the Groove in Reading Road.
The building would have three-storeys with a one-bedroom flat on each floor.
The application says it would provide “much-needed sustainable residential accommodation close to Henley town centre”.
It says the design is “modest” in scale to “reduce any negative impact upon the neighbours and in particular the properties fronting Reading Road”.
Henley Town Council’s planning committee has recommended the application is approved by South Oxfordshire District Council, the planning authority.
A decision will be made by March 15.
